Homework:
Read 20 minutes- we DO have the reading log back for this w eek, so make sure I get a parent signature, or it's considered late work.
Spelling- this week we are not having a spelling list. Instead, we will be studying Greek and Latin root words. The kids have a worksheet on this topic. It is on the back of the reading log.
Reading: Primary and secondary source worksheet
Science: Ecosystem crossword puzzle
Lots of homework tonight, but we had 45 minutes of work time, so if they were focused, the homework itself should be minimal!

Wow...talk about being out of the swing of things! We had a messy last week, and another this week! Hopefully Thursday and Friday will be full days, with no interruptions! We put the reading log on hold again this week, since we didn't have school on Monday or Tuesday. This doesn't mean you should stop reading. You still have read 20 minutes as your homework. RC #8 was due on Monday, so some students will be in for recess to catch up on that! Spelling test will be Friday and vocabulary test will be Monday, assuming we can get through them in the next 2 days. The words are coming from the story "Katie's Trunk".

Homework for the weekend...
Everyone has different things to do to get caught up from the last couple of days. I told the students that they would not have late work counted against them on Monday, due to the fact that I was gone for a couple of days this week. No reading logs were required this week, due to the mess of days! We'll go back to them next week. RC #8 is due on Monday.
