Well, another little goof in our day thank to Mother Nature. Between the weather, ball games, and conferences, this is going to be a crazy week or so! Please check the note that the kids brought home today. ANOTHER change in Monday's schedule, we are now dismissing at 11:15.

The crazy schedule note went home today on CRAZY pink paper. Take a look for this note in your child's binder.
Thursday: Tickets to the game go on sale in the office $8 each
Friday: We will be attending a pep assembly for the boy's basketball team from 2:15-3:00 at the high school. It is open to the public if you'd like to attend. Vocabulary test! I know, not as exciting as a pep rally!
Monday: 12:15 dismissal due to the ball game in Des Moines
Tuesday and Wednesday: 1:30 dismissal with conferences from 2-6. Remember our conferences are unscheduled, so stop in to any of the three classrooms for grade updates!
Thursday: School as normal if the boys DON'T win on Monday. NO school if the boys do win on Monday. Let's hope for a win :) This day will have to made up at the end of the year, like a snow day.
Friday: no school no matter win or loss

Mick and Bram took their spelling tests today, but my homeroom didn't quite make it! We'll be taking the test tomorrow, so study again tonight.
All three sections have a capitalization worksheet to complete tonight for homework!
READ 20 minutes.

Our schedule for next week will be changing due to the basketball games in Des Moines. The kid will be bringing notes home tomorrow explaining what's going on. Changes to our schedule for sure....early outs on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Conferences Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-6 (remember, 5th grade has drop in conferences with no times scheduled). No school Friday! Stay tuned for more in depth details.
