10-5-14

On Friday, we spent most of the day making Nonfiction text feature posters.  The kids did a great job of showing their knowledge using information they researched on the internet on volcanoes.  They look really great.  When they finished the posters, they moved on to the rest of their assignments, so many kids finished everything!  I'll just list all of the assignments, you'll have to rely on your child to find out which things they finished during class.

* Finish volcano research
* volcano poster
* vocabulary illustration

ALL have read over the weekend...the next quiz is due on the 15th.  That will be their third one due.  In the month of October, the kids have been challenged to read a biography or autobiography!

10-2-14

Tomorrow we will be going for a walk for PE.  Please make sure the kids wear the appropriate shoes, and possibly a coat.  It might be cold!  We will also be headed outside for the parade in the afternoon. Wear your BRONCO pride clothes tomorrow.
