Homework tonight:
Study for Thursday's vocabulary test over My side of the mountain words
Begin studying for the BIG end of the year spelling test- May 26th
Spelling assignment: write the first two words from each spelling unit
Vocabulary: Coloring worksheet
LATE WORK: Make sure it is done. The end of the year is coming soon, and many of the kids have late work.
FIND Mrs. Haugen's books. There are many of my free reading books that are missing. Please look through your things at home and find them. THANKS!

What's happening this week?
Spelling: We will be reviewing all of our words from this year. We will have a final test over randomly selected words on May 26th.
Vocabulary: Our last regular vocabulary test will be on Thursday, over My Side of the Mountain vocabulary. We will then begin studying for our end of the year vocabulary test, which will be May 26th.
Reading: Our last story will be My Side of the Mountain. We will read that this week, and watch the movie of it on Thursday! Anyone with all of their work done, and who has also passed the quiz over the story, will be able to watch the movie. Our skill this week is drawing conclusions, and inference.
Language Arts: This week we will begin our last project of the year. We'll be researching and taking notes over an animal. The kids will then make a Google Slide Show using various nonfiction text features.

Don't forget we have Fine Arts night on Thursday night. Art showing starts at 6:30 in the gym. Kids need to be in the classroom at 6:45 to take attendance. You are invited to have a cookie in the lunchroom after the concert.
Friday:
Fishing at Lake Cornelia in the morning, during specials time.
