What a day!! IT was so much fun attending the Science Center field trip. The kids did a great job. We did talk about a few things that we can do differently next time we go on a field trip, but overall AWESOME.

Our 5th Grade Classes will be taking a field trip to the *Science Center of Iowa * in Des Moines tomorrow- *Wednesday, Oct. 16th.* Student admission has been paid for by the 5th grade activity fund. * * ** *DON'T FORGET** TO BRING A SACK LUNCH!*
No homework tonight! Remember there is no school on Thursday of this week. FRIDAY is our vocabulary test. The kids really struggled with the words yesterday when we played a review game, so I gave them a couple of extra days to study. That means I expect good grades on Friday :)

Write 10 sentences and circle the verbs: 5 action verbs and 5 being verbs- not all students had to do this, as many of them finished it last week.

Please remember that all students need a lunch for our field trip on Wednesday to the Science Center. WE will be leaving as soon as we take attendance. It is such a fun trip! I can't wait.
