This week is FULL.  Please read carefully and mark your calendar!  The kids will be writing all of this in their planners tomorrow as well, so if they forget, remind them to check their planners.

The whole week is Homecoming celebration week!

Spelling and vocabulary: This week is a review week of all of the words from our first theme.  There are 3 stories worth of spelling and vocabulary.  The test over these words will be Friday (spelling and vocabulary)

All FAST tests have been given.  Starting this week, kids who didn't meet the goal for these tests will begin working with me during their last 20 minutes of the day.  We'll be working on reading strategies and skills.  We're calling this class Reading Lab.  At the same time, Ms. Bram will be teaching an extra math/social studies group. Students will stay in this group until the next time the test is given (around Christmas time)

Monday: Pajama day
               Assembly at 9:00

Tuesday: Black out day

Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday

Thursday: Favorite sport team day

Friday: Bronco pride day, wear your blue and green
             Parade 2:30
            Spelling and vocabulary review test
            Last day of September, so our 2nd RC quiz is due
            Science test: kids will get their study guide on Tuesday or Wednesday

Next week: Monday, theme test over first theme stories and skills
                    Start our Tall Tales unit in reading, and Animal and plant growth unit in Science
