We spent some time in the library today, learning about AEA's online resources. We also took round one of the FAST test. This is a statewide assessment that we are required to take three times per year. The results will be used for working with the students on specific comprehension and fluency skills.
Book orders are due Friday.

No homework today.
We took the pretest today over the Katie's Trunk words. We are one week off from our spelling and vocabulary words, as the kids really struggled with last week's words, and needed some extra time. Our vocabulary test over Paul Revere's Ride will be Friday.

We started our day with an assembly to review our PBIS expectations. The kids have done a good job with these rules, but they need a reminder after such a long break!
RC quiz #8 was due by the end of the day yesterday. Remember, the kids who are behind in their 2 book per month requirement, will have to stay in for recess and read to get caught up. 20 minutes of night time reading per day is required as homework for reading.
We worked on poetry writing stations today, so there is no homework other than to read!
Have a terrific weekend.
