Taylor Swift: Today we watched a webcast put on by Scholastic Book Club.  They interviewed Taylor Swift about the importance that reading and writing has played in her life.  It was a really neat experience and led to some terrific discussions in our classroom.

Reading: Read your 30 minutes OR more :)

Conference plans have changed several times over the last week or so!  We are trying to find the best way to accomodate all of our parents.  New and final plan....our conferences in fifth grade will be UNscheduled.  You will be able to drop by any time and see either Mrs. Haugen or Ms. Bram!  That way you can talk to both of us about any questions you might have.  You don't HAVE to stop and see us both, but it is an option!

Subscribe by email...the posts were set to send to you several hours AFTER I posted them.  I have finally figured out (thanks to our tech person) how to change the time they are sent out.  You should get an email with my post every day between 5-7.  You can check it manually at any time however, by just typing the webpage into the address bar.  Thanks a bunch to those of you who are looking at it on a regular basis!
