Vocabulary: Our figurative language vocabulary will continue throughout this week also.  We're learning about personification, similes, metaphors, and idioms this week.  Our figurative language vocabulary test will be next week.

Reading: We will be reading and comprehending poetry this week. We'll be learning about lines, stanzas, themes, and rhyme.  We'll concentrate on how to comprehend these sometimes difficult pieces of writing.

Science: Our earth cycles test will be on Monday.  The kids will be able to use their notes for this test. They took home their study guide on Friday.  We'll be completing our computer science unit this week as well.  Coding will continue throughout the year though.

Grammar: Friday we ate our adjectives!  What??? Yep, we taste tested several types of foods and wrote as many adjectives as we could to describe them.  We'll continue our adjective study throughout this week.
