Homework for the weekend: Read 20 minutes

We've got a lot of people signing up for the Bloomz app.  This is great!  It's an easy way to communicate.  Due to the large number of people who are signing up, I'm going to start posting homework there, and here on the blog.  That way, I know everyone is getting it!

During science on Friday, we engineered towers of marshmallow and spaghetti.  The tallest tower in 20 minutes "won".  The kids had a great time, and worked on their small group skills.  There are a lot of activities in science this year that require group work, so we want to be good at it!

The picture below is of Mr. Young, working with the 5th graders on Bronco Pride, and 5th grade teamwork.  If you haven't met our new principal yet, stop in and meet him!
