Olympic reading contest has begun!  Try and read 3 books in your lexile before the end of February, and you'll be a GOLD medal winner.

Nonfiction genre study: Our genre concentration for February is nonfiction.  Read a nonfiction book in your lexile and chose a heart.  The prize is hidden behind the heart.

Biography projects due tomorrow: bookmark, Fakebook page, acrostic poem

New words went out today for spelling and vocabulary.  Tests will be next week. Students who got a D or F on this week's test will be bringing them home to have the signed by parents.
