No homework for the weekend.
We spent Friday working on the laptops. It was a great day filled with TONS of great learning experiences. We worked on a Google Doc together. We typed letters to our postcard exchange pals from all 50 states. We also completed a Google Form survey on what we've learned so far in reading/language arts. We wrote some goals regarding where we'd like to go from here. The kids then submitted their results to me. The students then worked their way through many different activities dealing with the tall tales we've been reading all week. ALL paperless work today! Google was the focus of our technology inservice last Monday. It was fun to be able to put what I learned into action and see it work so well.
There are many things coming up in the next few weeks, for the kids and teachers alike. There are several days when one or more of the teachers will be at meetings and conferences. Please keep up on the blogs to make sure you know what's going on.
