Thanksgiving weekend

I hope you all had a great weekend home with your families. I know I sure enjoyed being with mine. Homework for the weekend is the "article" worksheet, and the spelling crossword.

The kids brought home a midterm report on Tuesday.  Please look through it with them and send back the cover sheet, signed, on Monday.  We are half way through the second quarter.  Time has been flying this year.

Things to note for the rest of the year.  Homework completion is SO important.  Please encourage your child to keep up with their work.  The kids in my room will be getting three days to complete late work.  Three strikes and ....it's  a zero!

There are many students who have passed TONS of books this year so far. WAY to go!  There are still some kids who haven't hit their five books yet.  Students need at least 5 books by Christmas.  Remember, the only way to become a better reader is to read!
